Clik Play transforms routine screening tests into quick, accurate, and stress-free - making the experience both effective and enjoyable for our little listeners.
Audiological evaluation of young children or people with learning differences is difficult and is prone to retesting as most 3 year olds don’t have the cognitive ability to take direction and sit still for 5-10 minutes.
Experience the fusion of gaming magic, user-friendly design, and simple to understand interactions through our iOS and Android app.
The primary goal of paediatric play audiometry is to determine the child's hearing thresholds, which indicate the softest sounds they can detect at different frequencies (pitches).
It is typically performed by audiologists or hearing healthcare professionals who are experienced in working with children.
Play audiometry is designed to make the hearing testing process enjoyable and engaging for children, allowing them to participate actively in the evaluation.
Currently, many audiologists conduct a ‘play’ audiometry test where the child is asked to perform a simple tactile task whenever they hear a sound through their headphones.
This method is outdated, and can be confusing to the child who often loses interest halfway through.
With Clik Play, the engaging visuals and audio feedback make for easy conditioning and an enjoyable experience for children aged 3 and above.
Designed in Audiologists in partnership with Clinicians and Parents for Children 3+ with support for Special Education Needs & Disablities.

Clik Play is a is a tablet application designed to conduct audiometric tests in a playful and engaging manner, especially for children. It uses interactive games and sound stimuli to assess hearing capabilities.
The app integrates with your current PC based Audiometer and knows via WiFi when a sound is presented.
The user plays with the engaging app interface to play interactive games that only respond when a sound has been presented.
While it is primarily designed for children from age 2 and up, the app can be used by individuals of various age groups.
However, it may be most effective for those who may find traditional audiometry challenging or intimidating.
Yes. Our initial testing suggests it is very successful tool for obtaining Audiometry thresholds in children who have Autism, neurodivergent or complex communication issues. The games stimulus intensity varies so you can use calmer visual feedback for children who are more sensory sensitives.
We are currently investigating this further and hoping to release peer reviewed
evidence to support this in the coming months.
Clik Play has the capability to do this and be calibrated with headphones. However, we are currently still conducting clinic trials for this functionality. Also, only certain tablets have the sound card capabilities for this function.
Yes, the app is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly.
